You should see his garage, lol.

Unless that one on the far right is the autopress that used to hang out there.

Also, are you going to be able to secure the bench to the floor ?

If not, you'll need to make it HEAVY.

Did someone say "make it heavy?"

That's exactly what I did, it's solid ash and it's not only NOT fastened to the wall, it's not even fastened together. Gravity holds it all together and it works perfectly! :)

well, if I had a bit of extra time, I always thought this would be a nice bench...

PointofAim, that was the basis for my bench and it turned out great! The top shelf isn't finished yet, the bench itself is done though. Gotta wait till spring when I can get the shelf out to the garage for some stain. I left it open underneath as it is more flexible, until I figure out exactly how I want everything organized. It is just totes for now. The bench is quite heavy, but just for good measure I have 4 fully loaded ammo cans on the lower shelf. That constitutes my emergency supply so I don't raid it ever. As for lights, I went with (2) home depot lights just mounted to the joists above. It is low enough ceiling and I am tall enough that I just reach up and flip the switches as needed.
