I got a Forster Power Trim. You attach it to your drill press and use a pilot/trimmer to trim your brass. Unfortunately, after a few cases, and before I had it calibrated, the collet stopped gripping the base. So off to Forster for an examination.

My question is, has ANYONE out there had success with trimming brass using this arrangement? I'm trying to trim to .001 with a minimum of :banghead:

I use the Lee case trimmer with my drill press and it seems to work fine. No problems yet.

I had a forster trimmer and the collets wore out quickly.

I use the Lee hand trimmer and Drill press/cordless drill (1/2" chuck). Cost me $6 and very consistant.

I prefer the RCBS Trim-Pro...replaced the handle screw with a socket-head cap screw...then chucked up an allen head in the DeWalt...now I have a power trimmer. :D
