Drop Charts

Thought I would share a very good resource with you guys.

Gseven dot com is what I used to make these charts. I made them from 4000ft to 10,000ft every 500ft

what is the drop calculated in? ballistics look like a .30-06 or a very hot .308

Drop is in MIL, But you can change that when making the carts

Dang, that is a hot .308. What is your muzzle velocity and what bullets are you using?

155 gr at 3100?

.... I'm a little slow on most days.... Very slow today...

But dang, it's impressive what elevation does to trajectory. Down here (pretty much at sea level) a 155 gr Scenar drops 9.5 mils out to 1,000 yards... And that is with a 3,100 fps muzzle velocity.

1200 yards at 4k ft is 11.5 mil

1200 yards at 10k ft is 9.6 mil

thats a miss by 6.8 FEET! If not adjusted for. crazy...

where i live, DA fluctuates between 500' and 3000' so it's not nearly as extreme. i usually only keep a couple cards
