I was wondering if good drop in triggers are available yet for the S&W M&Ps?

The compact M&Ps have nice ergonomics and would make a good carry gun. Except, of course, for the Mass. compliant 10 lbs triggers. :barf:

Not that I know of. Dan Burwell has said there is too much gun-to-gun variation for him to sell drop-ins. But he only charges $65 to work one over, plus $$ shipping of course. And has a DIY procedure on his site, and will sell you the rounded firing pin obstructing plunger.

Thanks Jim. I should have guessed there was a M&P forum up and running. :)

And thanks for the info about Mr. Burwell.

I can vouch for Mr. Burwell's work. He took a gritty, stacky M&Pc trigger (it was about 200 rounds out of the box) with a yard of overtravel and turned it into a crisp, clean breaker with no overtravel and good reset. I didn't have him lighten it, but it is quite acceptable without any lightening work.
