Dry Firing

I have dry fired lots of S&W revolvers with hammer mounted pins for "decades" and have never seen one break. I have never used snap caps. If a firing pin is going to break it's because it is out of spec or over hardened and brittle. Dry firing is not what breaks them.

dry-practice to include holster draw, mag changes, transition practice, etc., as well as dry-fire.
