My new toy I picked up yesterday.DSA SA58 Tactical Carbine. I have been wanting one of these for a long time .It looks like no better time than the present.

Are you sure it is LC? It is kind of an odd color for LC brass. How is it headstamped?

Also, what is the silver colored toggle-looking lever on the receiver by the buttstock?

The lever is for disassembly.

Congrats moonax, your going to love the SA58. I bought my carbine during the last "Ban" it has a muzzle break machined with the barrel and has a pretty good bark. Been thinking about getting a folding Para stock for it.
Great rifle though, have fun.

Thank you guys ,if it ever stops raining i'm going to break in the barrel.Lone Gunman,No I'n not 100 % sure it's Lake City ,the ammo can it's packed in has Lc on the outside.It's packed in single rows with brown paper in between the layers,looks like factory packing to me the headstamps are 61 & 92

I just touched it with a magnet and it sticks .It appers to be steel case and steel core.
Someone went through a lot of troube to package that stuff up.
Oh well It was given to me so i can't complain.
