I just saw on Fox a panel, talking about the Duke rape accusation case, the long hair Defense atty. (Jeff) who was upset that if the DA, Nifong, is way out of line, there is no reprecussion for legal retribution.

Another panel member said vote him out...in four years.

I was wondering if folks who are targeted by DAs, that may be playing to the mob metality, for various gun carrying "violations", let's say the Latin named guy in another thread who was carrying openly, legally, do the voters have direct complaint power to remove bad DAs?

have a great day

From what I heard lately, prosectors are immune from any legal repercussions due to mal, mis or non feasance. They probably can be recalled if they are elected officials. That is probably it, from what I heard listening to a radio show.
