Duracoat and Revolvers

I'm thinking of getting an Uberti Cattleman. However, I don't like the finish on it. I was thinking of using the Duracoat Chrome. Has anyone done something similar to this? If so, how did it turn out?

I did parts of my M37...the cylinder, cylinder release, ejector rod and crane...they were rusting up riding next to my skin. Worked out well although I want to redo it, I didn't prep the metal very well.
