What is this "Z-2" alloy? Just some type of steel?

They look just like the mounts that come with a CVA rifle. If they are they are very brittle, I've broken two sets when mounting them.

I second what cdb said, they ARE the CVA mounts, and one of the rings snapped on an the one that came with my buddies cva Wolf v1.

Ive got what i think are two piece remington rebrands on my 6x47, and alignment is iffy.
