Ear protection and hunting

dove hunting only. .22s in the woods while squirrel hunting aren't that loud and deer hunting or turkey hunting, I shoot maybe once every 3 years...

Peltors when hunting with a handgun. Wear a set of plugs around my neck when hunting with a long gun, and insert them before the shot if possible. No tinnitus yet, at 50+.

I agree, when hunting or in combat, recoil and muzzle blast just dont seem to register and I also find it a waste of money to wear cammo in a deer blind, unless you got to be a follower and dress like the rest. as far as I know deer cant see thru plywood. a buddy of mine sits in his blind, drinks beer, smokes cigarettes and gets all the game he wants. as for the noise, you usually aiint gonna shoot more than once or twice.
