I thought I would post some pictures of the finish on my TVM Early Virginia. She is my first build and I finished the barrel in a two step process. I first used Birchwood and Casey Plumb Red, rubbed it back and used Oxpho Blue. She came out with a nice blue/black finish and when the light hits her just right you can see an antique redish finish. Kind of gives the barrel a different look.

Looks great! Got any pics of the whole rifle? I've got to get together with TVM and have them build me a rifle. I'm only 30mins away!

I was thinking about the Late Lancaster. They had several different guns in stock for sale and I was gonna stop in back before last Christmas to look at them and never got around to it.
