As I mentioned in the other thread, you must now ENTER your address to do the lookup. Still, if someone knew your last name and address, they could do some snooping.

Gary Olen must be out cruising the Carribean or something.

This is clearly a massive security issue for SG customers.

The fact that anyone with the inclination can populate THREE FIELDS ON THEIR WEBSITE and potentially access confidential information is a MAJOR problem.

As several other posters have noted, as an SG customer (and I am one), you are potentially at risk with this inormation information being accessible and they practially offer it up to anyone.

In this lawsuit-happy society, I find it completely mind boggling that they have not remedied this. Their legal counsel is either incompetent or high.

If I'm Gary Olen, first I personally author an apology letter to be posted on every Gun Board with more than three members. Second, I tell HR to fire the einstein that came up with the idea.

Previously, it was not necessary to enter an address when I tried it. Now, it is necessary to enter a street address.

Not perfect, but certainly better.
