This means with the S&W's stock fully-extended. The gun's ergos never felt natural, having spent lots of time on Enfields, a Mauser, some with a Garand and my two all-original Saiga rifles. As for a .223, highly preferred my only other option, the Saiga.
Although I had never read about any 1" pad fitting onto the M&P Sport II, a staffer at Academy told me about some recoil pads.
The Limbsaver fit on by easily bending the pliable edges with a screwdriver. Took less than a minute or so.
Approx. $20 or so.
