Id like to use the APS primers from CCI but I havent found them locally. which brings me to my next question.

I can't believe the hazmat and shipping cost associated with powder and primers. I'd have to buy a considerable amount to get the price down to what I can buy at the local shop. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Unfortunately, the hazmat costs are what the shippers charge the company. This is one of the reasons powder and primers are higher at your local store. They have already paid the hazmat fees. Since I don't load enough to make these hazmat fees economical, I don't bother to buy these items online.

To answer your first question, yes, the strips are reusable.
