"The Economy, The Economy!"
You read about it and hear it in on the radio and news channels, but how does it affect your holster purchases?
A few years ago. High Noon Holsters in Florida, came out with a synthetic alternative to
both leather and horsehide holsters and accessories.
I had a very positive 2 week trail period in which I tested out their then new UNDER ARMOR should rig.
A Miami Vice type shoulder holster and double mag pouch made out of the sleek and good looking
laminated material.
Made to accept all Glock models, it was also a good fit for all of the CZs in my
armory, and large Witness 10MM, along with my two Glocks.
Speed up to present day, and we can take a look at the rig that I've been testing out in the past few weeks.
Namely, a complete gun rig that won't break the bank like most traditional holsters holsters from a reputable
company will do. Also, a holster and other gun gear that doesn't take a month longer to arrive.

The SKIN DEEP belt holster.
Made out of the same material as my shoulder rig.
This holster features snaps that allow you to easily take place it on or take it off your belt.
I really like this concept and also the fact that the SKIN DEEP (like most SKIN products) allows
for other handguns such as my S&W M&P Compact.
My RAMI is a good fit and a joy to carry in this holster, too.
I can't say much about this holster, except that it is made to the high standards that one can expect from High Noon, and that
in my opinion. You are getting a better holster than your black plastic holster.

The SECOND SKIN gunbelt.
This belt is lighter than my wal-mart special leather belt, but has no problem with giving good support to the HN
holster and mag pouch.
A basic black 1 1/2 inch belt with black stitching and a sharp looking nickel plated buckle
Due to High Noon's website instructions for ordering a correctly sized belt.
This fits me perfectly and I'm quite content with it. Know that it doesn't cut into you as some stiffer belts would do.
I give this belt a big Thumbs Up!.

DOUBLE SKIN Magazine Pouch. For double stack 9mm/40 and .357 SIG magazines.
A nice way to carry two mags,
or if you wish..a tactical light.
As with the SKIN DEEP holster..
I do like the snap system where you can take the mag pouch off the belt quickly.
This carry rig might not be for everyone. Some of you like leather or prefer kydex.
That is fine with me.
However, my last weeks of wearing this rig have been very good. Holster retention of both
my RAMI and M&P Compact has been positive.
I have no complaints about this
rig at all.
I'm planning on using this throughout the winter months, and expect no surprises.
So, if you are looking for something economical to carry your favorite pistol in, or just something new and different.
