Haven't shot the CZ in .45, so can't say about that other than the CZ's are quite popular.
Ruger P345 (new or used) Ruger P-90 ( no longer made, but you MAY find a new one here-n-there. My first .45ACP was a Ruger P-90. Kind of on the chunky side, but a very solid serviceable pistol.
