I have zero exposure to them, mainly the P-11.
Are they good, bad, worth the money or no?
Thanks.

The rifles are fairly reliable and fun to shoot. Carry the su-16 folded in my pack when camping. I've yet to have a problem with my p-3at. It's not pleasant to shoot because even a .380 kicks like heck when it's in such a small package.

I have a P11, PF9, P3AT and P32.

My P11, P3AT and P32 I trust completely. My P11 does not like 147 grain rounds with square front but shoots every thing else perfectly. Nice thing about the P11 is that it takes S&W 59xx and 69xx mags and real smith mags work every time.

My PF9 is working well for the first 100 rounds but I need to put another 200 rounds to call it good.

KEl-TEC

I own a P11 and after 300 rds - No FTF or FTE. Great guns that are inexpensive and all come (handguns) with a lifetime warranty.

Rifles seem decent, but the pistols are very cheap looking imo.

The road to hell is paved with arrogant Conservitives.

Granted, the compact Kel Tec pistols are not pretty, but they are meant for concealment, not showing off. I cannot speak for the other models, but my P11 has been a very good pistol. Recoil is brisk from the 9mm cartridge in such a small package. Capacity is excellent, reliability very good, accuracy acceptable (considering 3 inch barrel.) Fit and finish is so-so, the parts all seem very strong and fit together very well, however nothing is polished, tool marks visible in many places. I would say that Kel Tec is a very good value.

On another note, I've been wanting a PLR-16 for some time now.

I bought my p32 used and it has been trouble free for close to 1000 rds. Flat and light weight, it is very concealable. Sights are rudimentary, but the gun is accurate. I carry mine quite a lot and like it very much.

I bought a P11 used, hated it, sold it to get a sub-2000. Love the sub-2000, works great.

The P11 I had would have been great for contact shots, I couldn't shoot it accurately and wasn't impressed with the plastic sights and their tightness in the slide.

Mid to low range quality. Spotty reliability and quality control with the pistols. P11 has a TERRIBLE trigger. They, especially the P3AT, are not known for their longevity or durability.

I love my P11. It fit all the requirements I had when I purchased it. I wanted a light, small, 9mm pistol that wouldn't cost me an arm and a leg. After reading all the iffy statements about KT firearms, I half expected to get a lemon (I bought mine used). I have since fired maybe 700 rounds through it and it's working great.

The trigger is pretty bad.. but if you want to look at the bright side, I don't think you can accidentally fire this gun. I kind of like that.

The PF9 trigger is much better.. I might need one of those. I might need one of those P3AT's while I'm at it. :-D

I have a P11 and love it. My first and only pistol.

I fluffed and buffed it inside and out, which is also cool because I learned the inner workings...

Added a "White" trigger stop (pencil eraser behind trigger, Sharpied black) that really helps "stage" the shot...makes it a lot more accurate and with more trigger control, IMO, because you can "jerk" the trigger back to the stop, realign the sights, and shoot all in one quick motion. But it did take a while to get the stop just where I wanted it...lots of tweaking.

I also added the trigger shoe, finger extension base-plates to mags, and am planning on turning my 10 round mags into 12 round mags. And that doesn't even make the mag any bigger...it's perfectly simple, I just haven't gotten around to it. Just need to do some judicious sanding and cutting.

12+1 in that size gun is amazing. You can actually turn it into 13+1 but it makes the mags bigger and costs money (have to order +1 extender from KT).

I just want to replace the sights and it'll be perfect!

Oh yeah...I open carry it in a Sidekick holster, lol. So much for needing a concealable gun. At least it's versatile, and I can conceal it if needed.

I love my Kel-Tecs; I have four of them! They're inexpensive, light, and durable. The triggers tend to be pretty rough, though. Basically, know what you're getting it for and use it properly for that application.

About the SUB-2000s, know that they're throated for different types of magazines. The two major ones I've seen have been for Glock 19 and Beretta 92 mags; make sure you know which you're getting.

I think for my main gun I'd use something more robust, but that's just personal opinion.

regertc1 beat me to posting the link. I bought my first one, a pf-9, a week ago. Haven't shot it yet but if it works like it should it will be a pretty good gun for the money.

Conwict, just call KT and they will send you the 12 rd followers for free. I've received many, many free parts from KT which is good, but bad that I actually needed them.

Apparently the P3AT was good enough for Ruger to copy it & the KT parts list drawing!

Who let you out of the KTOG romper room, RC? The design may be very similar, but everyone who's handled them side by side says the LCP is of much higher quality.

My P3AT has worked fine so far. It gets carried in a pocket holster from the time I get dressed until the time I go to bed every day of the week. I have had only had 1 feed malfuntion and that was when it was dirty and I limp wristed it. I consider that to be my fault not the gun's. Other than that, I have put over 200 rounds through it with no further problems.

My old man has the P11 (I think, it could be the PF-9) Fired ok, I was able to keep it on the target at 10 ft. I didn't like how flimsy the grip felt. I could feel it deform when I gripped it too tightly.

P-3at

Hello
A few hundred rounds through my P3AT and zero problems. If this one wears out in my lifetime I will buy another one.:)
