The local pawn shop has a Just Right Carbine JRC45. I apparently had never even heard of them. I did a search, and nothing came up here. But I thought one of you would have some experience to share. I have an extra SKS that would make nice trading material.......

I have looked at these at a LGS. They look well built to me and seem like a lot of fun. A couple of the locals there have them (one 45 and one 40) and say they have had some feeding problems. Other than that they are really pleased with them.

Thanks, it looks neat with the fully ambidextrous charging handle and ejection port. I've wanted a pistol caliber carbine for awhile.

I had a 9mm version, but sold it to a guy who wanted it more more than I needed to keep it :)

Worked just fine for me while I had it.

The only real down-sides I can see is needing a glock in 45 so I have interchangeable mags, and I'll have to have another Eotech.

I didn't notice that, but I was a little awe struck trying to take it all in. I will be back to fondle it again. I was just curious the first time, now I'm a little interested.

I went back today. The mag seems fine. He said he'd go to $500 even. Just have to find a taker for the Sks.

I have the 45 model. It's a boatload of fun. Mine has always just run never had an issue with it shooting. 230 gr round nose or 185 gr wadcutters. I'm even using the aftermarket extended mags. Just keeps shooting and I keep smiling

That's good to hear. The 26 round Korean mags have been troublesome. But a new glock 21 13 round modified to their specs is running great. I didn't like the 26's much anyway, to long and cumbersome. It's been fun getting it sighted in and running right. But it will be a lot more fun once I get a decent red dot on it, and started reloading 45's. I had to steal one of my boys cheap-o dots off one of his airsofts since he wrecked my cheapy.

I've never owned one myself but we sell a lot of them at the gun shop where I work. We have one customer that owns I think three of them and really loves them. They feel very solid and well built to me, personally they don't really peek my interest enough to own one but I think they would make a fun plinker and nice little home defense gun.

I just couldn't pass it up. The price was right, and the trade in was right. If I don't end up keeping it, I cant hardly loose a dime. 45's reload cheap, and I was getting into that anyway for my 1911.
