I've been looking for some nice holster to carry my 4" 1860, and I came across El Paso Saddlery. They have some really nice looking pieces, and have plenty of options. I was looking at a cross draw slim jim holster, or trying to rationalize getting hold of their Doc Holliday rig.

Anybody have experience with El Paso Saddlery?

Bought a basic rig for a Vaquero back in 2002. Good quality, USA made, no complaints. Keep in mind, I'm not much of a cowboy or a BP shooter, but it works for what I need it for.

+1
None better.

Many of thier leather patterns date back to the old S. D. Myres leather company of the late 1800's through 1960's, and are still in use.

The S. D. Myres Saddelry actually made holsters for Doc Holiday and other famous and infamous gunfighters!
They are the real deal!

Have a couple of their holsters & belts, I like the Charley Three persons pattern. They make a great product.

Have used them for 9 holsters and settled on their Patton holster for my 4 ROAs, 2 S&W 686's, and an older +P Vaquero in .45 long Colt
This way I have same holster for my main hunting guns
They do a great job!!!

I did a recent thread in Holsters about El Paso Saddlery a short while ago, link here.

As to slow delivery, like I related in the aforementioned thread, my second order arrived very quickly. First one was "prompt" and within the stated timeframe of I believe 3-6 weeks.

I'll also repeat that the quality seems absolutely superb.

I have several of their products ranging over several years. The Slim Jim crossdraw they made for me this year for a .36 Navy is perfectly done.
Quality has never been a question.

The delay you may see mentioned comes from them building your item after you order it, they don't stock items & can't take one off the shelf to get it to you in a hurry.
