I been living in Ohio for almost two years but I’m still unfamiliar with the local politics. I want to support judges who are pro 2nd amendment but I have no idea who to vote for. I live in Reynoldsburg. Who are most of you supporting for the senate? Both got bad marks from the GOA and NRA

Moving to legal and politcal. You will get better responses there.

I can't remember who?

Is running against Voinovich but I'm voting for his Democrat opponet. Because Voinovich is a RINO. Then when it's time for his re-election we may get a good Republican to run against them.

Does that make any sence?

Yes it does. You, and other voters like you are Voinovich's worst nightmare. If enough rural Republicans turn on him he could lose a close election.

Makes a lot of sense. Especially in light of the fact that the next president will nominate (used to be appoint) one or more Supreme Court justices as well as numerous other federal court judges. We want to make sure that the Senate is as liberal as possible and that the Dems have a majority, if possible. That way is Bush wins, he will never get any judge or justice other than a moderate-to-liberal and if Kerry wins he will get all the ultra leftists he wants.

Voinovich is a spineless RINO and is no friend of freedom (including the 2A). But, at least he helps keep the Repubs in technical control of the Senate. Unfortunately, we CAN'T show this RINO the door. We can't afford to this time around. I would run for Senate in Ohio myself (though my honesty would make me unelectable) if I hadn't made a promise to my wife 20 years ago that I would never run for public office.

Even though I agree with you 100% on Voinovich, not voting for him will elect Eric Fingerhut. I can't do that. He is the one who tried to get an "assault weapons" ban started in the state legislature. Voinovich is no friend of ours, but Fingerhut is the enemy.
