Don't have a cannon, don't want a cannon myself; but they sure are fun to watch and hear.
But here it is Sunday after a looooooonnnngggg work-week; which had me using A TON of single pair Cat 5 twisted 24 ga in my efforts.
Now it's Sunday, and I'm trying not to think about anything pertaining to work for another 20 hours; and you spoil it with this picture!
Just kidding; glad to see it worked out for you. Kinda looks like a heavy-duty version of the Ni-Chrome igniters used to light off model rocket motors from those days of my childhood.
Which, by the way, reminds me of the time when two of us idiots decided to see how well an Estes A4-3 motor would launch all on it's own.
So we glued a "guide tube" (the little straw that holds the model rocket to the launching rod) onto the motor, but not aligned well with the motor body; and lit 'er off!
Left the launch rod and angled over to about 35 degrees towards the "Mighty Colorado River" (yard wide and maybe two feet deep back then), and into some scrub reeds, Tamarack trees, and a couple of "hobo houses" made of old refrigerator boxes.
It did not end well.
First time I've thought about that epic adventure in 40 years. Only mentioned it today because I realized that it was TWO TIMES the Statute of Limitations ago.
