I am looking to replace my dial lock on an AMSEC 6022 safe with a S&G 6120 electronic lock. So far, the lowest price I have been quoted is $165 for the lock alone. A local locksmith wants $275 to install one for me (all labor and parts included).
Well, those options are too expensive for me. Is there a source to get the locks at a discount or even buy a used one somewhere? Looking to spend under $100 if I can.
Also, if anyone has ever undertaken anything like this themselves, your input would be appreciated.
