Seems like the only person committing a crime on the video was the news reporter pointing the gun at the camera man.

Email what? What's the idea you're trying to get across?

The principal was in the wrong or right to have the firearms in his school? That the guns weren't properly secured? That you don't believe the explanation that the firearms were there for a demonstration on military police uses to a bunch of special ed students?

The concern by the parent was wrong or that they were being responsible because the weapons weren't cased and locked?

That the school board was good for defending the principal or that they were idiots for not firing him?

I believe that the idiotic reporter acted irresponsibly with the gun by grabbing it and pointing it at his camera man for effect. This is sensationalism and dangerous. They were trying t promote an anti-gun message and instead looked complete fools when the reporter pulled something like this.

That's exactly the sort of thing we need to comment on. The reporter's behavior violated a fundamental firearms safety rule and he should be counseled for such a failure in judgment and safety and the staff should receive remedial firearms safety training if they're ever to touch a firearm.

Sorry, I guess my OP was a bit ambiguous. My disdain is aimed solely at the irresponsibility of the reporter and news director.
