I normally reload only straight walled pistol cases, and have a Dillon Square Deal in each of the calibers I reload. But, I do have an RCBS Rockchucker, and Uniflow powder measure.

I have had them in long term storage, and just dug them out. Well, they were apparently exposed to more moisture than was good for them over the last 5 years or so. Both were locked up. The press came easily, and I got it cleaned up etc, and it seems to be working fine. The powder measure is STUCK. I hate to soak it with oil, and work it out that way for the fear of powder contamination. I attempted to remove the measuring screw, but it even seemed stuck. I simply can't remember, but it is supposed to just unscrew thereby allowing the rest of the measuring cylinder assembly to come out isn't it?

Or, should I send it to RCBS for repair?

Thanks
Dan

Never mind got it apart, and it looks like it'll be fine with a little emery cloth action.

Thanks though.

If you do have trouble just call RCBS, these people stand behind thier products 110%.

Always been my experience. Service is THE reason I have nothing except RCBS and Dillon. I've had nothing but great service out of either company. Some of the others not so much. Anyway, I haven't reloaded in many years, but looking forward to getting back into it. Hope I can find all my stuff.
