Does anyone have an easy method of emptying the primers from the primer chute of a Lee Pro 1000. When I'm finished for the day I like to empty the chute but it's a real pain.
Use a bent paper clip to push the primers back up the chute into the tray and carefully remove the tray from the primer attachment. The bend needs to be long enough to go up into the tray.
Some people drill a small hole at the bottom of the tray cover so once you push the primers up, you can insert another piece of paper clip to hold the primers from pouring out while removing the tray from the attachment.
