I use a Chargemaster to dispense H110, H335, I4064 and Bullseye. At the end of each session, emptying the Chargemaster is easy and quick for all of the powders except Bullseye which is "sticky" and doesn't just drain out when you turn the valve on the drain spout. It requires a tedious process of inserting and removing a thin dowel rod back and forth through the drain port and continually brushing powder that sticks down off the inside of the reservoir.
Does anybody have a suggestion of an easier or better way to do this?

I don't use Bullseye, but have used W231, Titegroup, and rifle powders. After draining the reservoir I set it to dispense say 60gr and let it go until nothing is coming out. I use the brush in the reservoir and a pipe cleaner in the tube. I make sure that I've closed the spout for next time. Over time my reservoir has a powder gray tint that means nothing. Do not leave powder in the reservoir overnight or long periods. I am sure you know the straw trick.

It's those little tiny flakes. Thump the sides then just wipe out the hopper with a 'J' cloth or the like. Isn't worth fretting about.

I have wiped out mine with a USED dryer cloth. Cling-free or the like. Cold weather is the worst...

BE-86 and a few others are the same way, Hornady sends a long handled Artist's paint brush with their Auto-Charge dispensers, which is what I have, for knocking the stuff loose.

It works pretty well.

I do use the artist's brush and I use all of the anti static tricks. The problem is that nothing comes out when I open the spout unless I work the brush in and out of the drain chute from the outside. This is regardless of how much powder is in the reservoir. Static isn't the issue either. Bullseye is just a "sticky" and doesn't flow. I wouldn't care about it except that spending 10-15 minutes to get it cleaned out every day becomes tedious. My other powders flow right out and I dint even need the brush.
If I didn't have about 4 lbs of Bullseye remaining in the jug, i'd just dump it in the garden and use something else.

I load on a Dillon and just dump the powder charge for pistol. Rifle and the .38 S&W are all I use the charge master for. RCBS and others have inexpensive volume powder dispensers if you don't have a progressive.
