Hi fellow THRs. Is there a discount for licensed EMTs on firearms? I have heard that glock does this but have found nothing on their website. I am in Missouri if it makes a difference. Thanks in advance!

Look for "first provider" or "emergency responder" for the EMT discounts. More and more folk since the 11th of Sept, 2001 have been offering discounts.

I'd do my own check with the manufacturer first then when you talk to the shop about ordering, see if they'll rub you right as well.

I can't imagine there being rhythm for LE/Fire but not EMT.

If you call glocks factory in georga [i believe] they will tell you the closest dealer that does first responder discount. Dont know the number off the top of my head but google probablly knows

Many companys offer discounts to first responders. Look at the "contact us"ection of the guns you're interested in and write a notr, you should be directed ti a store that offers a discount that works with the company, hope this helped

Rock 'em sock 'em... Good for you and nice to know you're being looked out for - now go intubate something!:D

If you want a Glock, you just have to find a Glock law enforcement dealer. If you go to Glock's website and search for dealers, you can select LE dealers. They call it the "first responder discount". I even qualify as a volunteer firefighter with a department issued ID. $400 for almost any new Glock, and a few bucks more the longslide and ported models.

The Glock LE dealer I dealt with is a police supply store, and they also carry S&W, Ruger, Remington, and Springfield. All have discounts, but not nearly as good as Glock's. This particular store also gives a discount on used guns and accessories. My buddy picked up a trade-in Glock 22 for $289.

I am a EMT and work for a federal agency, my local glock dealer honors both. I thinks may have offered something similar in the past/ present but I am unsure without calling the factory first.

Buds gun shop does. Just go to the sight and click on their police supply link. They have really good deals for new Smith and Wessons.

Not all Glock dealers do it, just the LEO dealers. That is not a dealer that has sold to a cop, but a Glock designation. Only one per region. It is a coroprate thing, not a dealer thing.

Alright thanks guys. I will be calling glock and asking where the closest dealer is. But does anybody know where one is that is near St. Louis?
