Enduron 4955 in .270 win w/140 gr bullet

Sierra shows 53.6 gr as approximate max charge with 140gr tgk bullet. Hogdon shows 54gr starting load with 140 gr sft sp and max charge of 59 gr and 2955 fps with 24 in bbl . Both use win case and primer. My load is 53.5 gr Imr 4955 with a 140 gr Sierra tgk bullet. and my Magnetospeed V3 shows 2861 fps out of my 22 in barrel. That equates to approximately 2931 in a 24 in barrel. I think I am approaching maximum charge at less than Hogdon's min charge. I like to compare multiple sources , but Nosler and Hornady don't publish load data for 140 gr bullets in win 270 win and imr 4955. Not saying Hogdon is wrong. I use their data a lot and never had a problem. Just can't understand this one. Am I missing something?

Contact the mfg of the bullet for load info. Most have it on request.

I spoke to Sierra and Hogdon both . I get both Sierra and Hogdon data on the web . I was using a Sierra bullet and believe their data to be correct based on the readings I got with my Magnetospeed . Hogdons data uses a Swift 140 gr bullet and may work with that bullet but not mine .
