I just had my Lee turret press delivered from Midway yesterday and set it up as soon as I could last night. I do 't have a ton of experience yet with reloading but this press is like sitting behind the wheel of a Caddy after reloading with my single stage Herters press for the last couple of months. I've been loading 9mm with it so far and have some .223 to load afterwards. Enjoying this new found hobby very much, I already like to shoot and this just makes it so much easier to shoot more often. Not easy here in NY since all the new legislation went through last year, the panic it created was and still is a pain to deal with when you need ammunition. The reloading is making it so much easier to keep stocked up.

Cool.

I am glad that you are enjoying your new hobby. Have fun and be safe.

Congrats on the new press! Just don't forget your single stage roots! Nothing sub standard about a quality single stage, their just slower.

I know what you're talking about - I reload .45 acp and went from the Lee Classic "whack-it-with-a-plastic-hammer" Loader to a Lee Load-Master!! I got it about a month or so ago on sale from Midway. I haven't got the case feeder or bullet feeder going yet, but it's so much faster!!
I had used only the Lee Classic Loader for my rifle, so I got one for my 45. But soon figured out I go through a lot more ammo with a pistol!! (The 45 was my 1st pistol) The Load-Master took a little tweaking to get set up and working right (the priming system mainly) but at a moderate pace and keeping an eye on everything, it works pretty good for the money!!
Congrats and good luck and be safe!!

I have a D650 that I dearly love, I am also a woodturner, which my primer hobby but I can't pass by the reloading bench without doing something related to reloading. Just this PM stopped and used my Franklin bullet puller to recover some cases with live primers that we loaded incorrectly.

Like you I like to shoot and reloading has given me more time to hit the range with less costs. ( Well I keep telling myself that anyway :) )
