I was watching an episode tonight...
Despite all their strategy, they started the big bust by having an undercover agent approach the front door of a drug dealers with an empty cardboard box. The screendoor was open and it smelled like weed (reasonable cause) so they just entered with no problem. The suspect was a high-level dealer with 22lbs. of hydroponic marijuana. As they searched for other evidence for the sake of leverage, I saw what looked like a half case of Wolf ammo under his bed, plus a gun case in the closet containing a shotgun and a KelTec Sub2000. The feds got all excited proclaiming "Mac 10! That's a machine gun! That's illegal! What's this? A laser sight! That's illegal!

I just thought I'd mention that they uttered "Mac 10" and "machine gun" three or four times...kinda pissed me off. Last I heard, laser sights aren't illegal, but maybe they are if you're caught with weed.

Rant off.

They should rename that show to "Let's make a deal"...get's kind of old after about three episodes. But it is more entertaining than the suicide-inducing "Speeders" on TruTV.

I saw that episode too.It really sounded that they were trying to scare the guy into giving up his source.I hope that was the case cause if it wasn't they sure sounded pretty stupid.

I was refering to the cop telling him it was a machine gun and telling him the laser sight was illegal.I'm sure the guy knew he what type of gun he had.

if you ever work with LE, one thing they need to do is flip a suspect right there on the spot if he is someone of high value. So yeah, they are gonna tell him anything to scare him. That's what "interrogation" is all about.

I saw that episode too. I like the guy with dread locks and prescription pills. sure they blocked out his face and changed his voice, but who wouldn't recongnize(spelling) him? i Dont think they should make shows about that stuff. It probably helps criminals more than it entertains us.

"I've said it before, I'll say it again. TV is entertainment."

And it's not even good entertainment. I can't remember the last time I watched a non-sports show on a major network. It's too depressing, thinking about the people out there who are on the left side of the bell curve sucking up all that moronic nonsense.

Cretinous jack-booted thugs combined with "reality" television?

I cannot think of a more gag-inducing example of everything that is wrong with this country.:barf:

In the meantime, rather than giving attention to trash culture, we should shun 'em and talk about stuff that's actually related to shooting or RKBA.
