Ya that's what's it called. I like the more sweaped background to.They call it, Pistolengriff mit runder Deutscher Backe
the raised panels are always a nice touch. One day I'll build a modern copy so I don't worry when I take them hunting.Mines a little rough around the edges, 7 X 64View attachment 876147

Yes, I know however the link for the catalogue has expired.
Lovely both of them.View attachment 876144hear is one I shoot a bit, just a nice simple German rifle, there's a good chance this action is pre 1900. Here is a 1891 that I made up like a early German rifle.

Clearance is about 4mm so fine for normal operation of safety. It looks like the standard safety is still present -- how much clearance does it leave you under the scope eyepiece?
Hensoldt Duralyt 6x made in Germany with Suhler claw mounts.Any ID/info to share on your rifle's cool receiver sight?
Yes, I did that conversion 30-06 to 8x60 but used a Hornady 8x60S full resizing die after trimming to 60mm.Excellent cartridge, 8x60mm. Same 8mm bullet as the 8x57mm standard. Cases at worst can be made from .30-06 brass by shorting the case from 63mm to 60mm and finishing the case mouth. Lube well and resize the neck by adjusting a 8x57mm sizing die to not fully resize the case. Get pretty much the same performance as a .30-06 as the bullets are comparable and the velocities are comparable.
And the rifles are very nicely assembled and finished. Made by people who really love rifles and take pride in their work.
