does anyone know where i can find a dealer in ohio that sells the escort marineguard shotgun thank you

Call around and ask if anyone carries it. Not a lot of dealers sell Escorts. It would probably be cheaper to order it online if you can't find it locally.

I was looking at shotguns at the time and the counter guy said he just got it in. We both agreed at the time that it was a lot tighter as far as the action than the Mossberg, Remington and pardner. I liked the Pardner, but it seemed very heavy, not necessarily a bad thing, but the Escost just seemed to have a different balance.

Doesn't help that it just looked pretty...overall, great fit and finish, wonderful forearm grip and the nickel finish has held up well. Simple breakdown and fires everything thrown at it (as all guns should). Bird Shot, Buck, and Slugs. Have a target with 5 slugs less than 2" groups at 20 yards.

Bought it on a whim, but as others have said, parts could be a problem. Being fairly simple...not an issue. There is a service center in Tulsa that has parts (spoke with them and they have them in stock) and for the price...not worried. Also came with a five year warranty (YMMV...but it is some comfort).

I beleive this has been said on this forum before...the Escort is made at the same plant as the discontinued HK FP6 (Fabarms) and that the parts are interchangeable.

If I can ask...why are you looking for one?

Jim

They are distributed by Legacy Sports, most of the major wholesalers carry them. You could also check Gallery of Guns to find a local dealer.
