I'm probably not the only one who has done this....sold a nice custom 10/22 rifle to a fellow several states away. Regretted it for years....10 years later.... I see the same rifle laying on a table at a gunshow, couldn't get the money out fast enough.

I just got one back.

I sold a Ruger Redhawk to a friend about 3 years ago, and bought it back off him last week. I always regretted selling it in the first place.

Thats buying the exact same gun twice.

I haven't, but there are more than a few out there that I'd gladly buy back. It's tough to admit you've been foolish so many times...

I own Three H&K SP-89's, couple HK Match in .45, and three AK's in 7.62. I have no idea why I have these doubles and tripples, guess I has the cash at the time and good deals came my way ..

Would gladly do it again ..:)

Oooooooh yeah. Swap guns back and forth with several friends. A sure cure for seller's remorse is to go buy another 'un. Doubles and triples? Anything worth doing is worth overdoing.

joab....sold it for $1200 (w/scope) and bought it back for $800 (no scope)

It had changed hands 3 times before I got it back....Just dumb luck to have stumbled onto it again.

Did that with a Browning High Power Practical. Almost immediately regretted it so I wound up buying one later when I had the money.

OTH, I sold the 1st BHP to a friend so every so often I get to see it, and I know it's being taken care of properly.

Yes...sold my Mini-14, a LOT of mil .223, magazines, and all to a co-worker; about 2 years later bought it all back including all the ammo. He hadn't fired it one time. Won't sell it again!

I have never been able to buy the gun back because the guy I sold it to won't part with it. You see, he is smarter than I am:cuss:

Th eonly gun I've gotten rid of was my Ruger P95DC. I dont see me buying it back.

I have, however, pawned both my kimbers on seperate occasions, does that count?

Never the exact same gun, but I have bought, and sold (and bought, again), the same model.

I bought and sold a Norinco 1911A1. I should've kept it as it worked much better than the eventual replacement, an Auto Ordnance 1911A1 (pre-Kahr, btw).

I bought and sold a Glock 22 before I thought better of it, bought and sold another Glock 22 before I thought better of it, and eventually replaced that one with a Glock 17. Now I miss the 22.

I'm on my third .45, second 03, fourth BHP, fourth .357, third .32, third 30-30,
second Mosin Nagant, third .223, second .303, don't know how many .22s and shotguns. need I go on?

Sure, drunk punk brother stole my Titan .25 from me years ago and sold it to one of his drunk buddies. I chose to just go buy it back from the guy for price paid rather than involve the we're here to help guys. Gave bro a fat lip for it & forgot about it.
