Ever got a good deal on Gunbroker?

Several Gun-Broker good deals, including: (1) NIB CZ 75B with two high caps for $319; (2) NIB Ruger KGP-141 for $325; (3) NIB Ruger SP-101 for ~$310. This said, you have to be CAREFUL. And, please remember, the DC area is pretty high-cost for firearms (and everything else).

Got a pristine S&W 12-2 2" RB for $180 after shipping and expences. But the deals are very few and far between.

There is some pretty pricey stuff on there, but some good deals too.
I picked up an unfired, NIB, pre-ban Marlin Camp 9 Carbine for $300. I was pretty happy with that deal.
Keep in mind also that local gun prices can vary wildly from region to region. I see guys on this board talk about gunshop prices that I'd never see out here in the middle of BFE.

Have only bought twice out of Gunbroker but I am happy with both the price and the merchandise.
It depends ……
I’ve bought guns, and been satisfied with what I got and the price I paid. But I don’t look for guns, and especially those that are in short supply and subject to high demand.
Instead I look for parts, accessories, gun-leather, grips, sights and publications (recently bought a 1930’s S&W parts-list book that is invaluable if you’re trying to figure out what makes an old-timer work).
On another occasion I found a Colt Army Special .38 on a different auction that went cheap (under $50.00) because the barrel was split at the throat. Then on Gunbroker I found a barrel, that was either new, or like new, for $20.00. By gosh, they were singing my song.
So to answer your question, yes I’ve gotten some very good deals, but I know how to look for them.

I have never had a bad deal through gunbroker.
The key is to know your buyer. If they have no references it is up to you to establish the legitimacy of the deal.

I've gotten a few good deals there. All depends on what you're looking for and timing. A lot of the sellers seem to have high shipping costs though. Keep in mind that many prices are based on the going prices in the area in which they're sold from. Other areas of the country may have better or worse prices in the local shops.

I've gotten some good deals, both on guns and accys. As has been said though, you need to know what you are looking at/for. A little patience pays off.

Although I see plenty of not-so-great deals on GunBroker, I am fortunate enough to have had one... I purchased a "like new" CZ 75BD for $285 including shipping, add the $15 FFL and it was $300 with no sales tax. I was pretty stoked about the deal, the seller was great to deal with (and very patient, I might add, with my inexperience in internet gun buying and my dealer forgetting to mail the FFL!), and the gun was as promised, just like new. I know I got lucky, but it helps to be patient and know what you are looking for.
Let us also not forget about the inflated prices some dealers put on their wares ***cough***kidbillions***cough*** in an effort to avoid auction site fees by dealing with potential customers who may be interested in making an offer via e-mail.
