Ex-NYC mayor: Ban all guns

It looks to me like we could lower our debt, by simply selling New York to Canada. Or maybe just trade it straight across for Alberta and British Columbia.

Hey in ancient Rome, if you held a political office, you were allowed a certain number of guards with clubs(bundle of sticks actually). The higher your rank, the more guards with clubs you could have. If you held a high enough ranking, your guards could put axes in their bundle of sticks (outside of the boundaries of the city of Rome), signifying that you had the right to tell them to execute people.

Those bundles of sticks were called fasces, from which the word fascism derived. Koch and Bloomberg seem pretty fascist to me.

US. Congress has faces with axes attached on the wall

Bloomberg and Koch absolutely are fascists, and I don't mean that to express disapproval of their policies. Objectively, both men believe in the absolute minimum level of individual freedom, both think that the government should be allowed to impose its every whim on the citizenry without any obstacles, and neither one is quite left-wing enough to be called a communists. So fascists they are.

NYC where the city never sleeps. The pride of old America now dictating the whole of the America. That just wont stand a chance here in Texas. Our guns are part of our culture and landscape.

No disrespect intended towards anyone on these forums, but in my experience, big city mayors, especially those of NYC, tend to be under the impression that their territory is the center of the known universe, that someone from outside of that area has an IQ cap of 50, and that of course their every whim and desire should be copied everywhere regardless of local culture, law, politics, reality, etc.
