Ok- so what's your excuse for doing bad? I remember, I took my cousin to the range with my dad, and I couldn't maintain a 4" group at 7 feet (I kid you not) with my dad's Walther PPK/S- I was shooting left and right and down and up, and I realized that I was flinching. But, to my cousin, I was like "oh- well- this gun isn't exactly designed to shoot accurately" and then my dad moved it out to 15feet and started shooting 2" groups, so I quickly explained by saying "oh- the gun gets more accurate as you fire more rounds"... I'm still hoping he didn't catch on. :D

Solar winds, magnetic storms and congress observing a moment of silence. The sudden stillness of hot air really screws up groupings.

Turbo-cabulator is out of calibration, flux capacitor isn't in spec, and tachyons, always include tachyons.

I just tell 'em "Okay, the reason I shot that 18" group at 7 yards is to let you know how I did the very first day I went to the range. I can't do better than that today because I don't want you to feel bad!":D

No excuses, but I can usually tell just after I pull the trigger if I pulled the gun in some fashion.

My problem is that I need to do a lot more dry fire exercise, and I don't. No excuse for that either.

The single reason that keeps me from placing perfect shot groups is sudden gusts of gravity...:D

I never miss my target.

"I wasn't shooting for accuracy just for the fun of shooting, the blast, the noise...I was just becoming one with the moment."

You wouldn't believe how many people actually buy that crap. Actually some days that is all I want to do.

I am usually pretty honest though and will say when I am shooting poorly.

Azrael,

Then you send them to Home Depot for a new Flux Capacitor, just be sure they get the one rated for 1.21 gigawatts.
