Exercising my 1866 Yellowboy carbine

For the last few years I've been using my 1873s in CAS matches while my '66 has been gathering dust. So I thought it would be fun to show it a little love.

Though you won't see it on this video, at the end of the day the screw that holds the barrel band/front sight tight broke, sending my point of impact all over the place. I ordered a new band/screw from Long Hunter, I I should have it back in action soon.

Have you tried the brass bead front sight / barrel band from Pioneer Gun Works?

Nice how it conveniently deposits the empty brass in the brim of your hat. Great if you reload and want to keep track of your brass.
