We've all seen the IWB, OWB, paddle holsters, belly bands, smartcarry, shoulder rigs, ankle rigs, fanny packs, purses, dayplanners, and pocket holsters. What else is out there?

Trench coats?

Briefcases?

One of those "tactical" clothing companies makes an undershirt with holster pouches sewn into each side under the arms. I think their button-down shirts also have "hidden" pockets for firearms.

5.11 has a "sling" backpack that can carry a full size pistol in front and a sub machine gun (pic shows a MP-5) in back

I have messed around with a Desantis shoulder holster that held an UZI (for real the secret service used them in the Regan era.) talk about walking lopsided. (Not my holster or Uzi, but it was cool.)

I have a leather daytimer/portfolio case that is designed to conceal a full size 1911, and that's exactly what I use it for when I must be civilized.

This is some kind of new IWB holster from Fobus. Any one tried it?

Google "OSS 'String Holster.'"

That led me to this...

and of course the OSS string holster:

The glock sure doesn't look stable in that pocket. Well, at least from the pictures shown.

I do believe the scariest part of that advertisement is the phrase "Click here to watch a VIDEO demo!" I'm afraid to click!

I'm reasonably sure that most males would be so busy watching the twin cannons, that they'd entirely miss the pistol. Go ahead and click it - you might even convince your wife she needs one.

I do find it a little improbable that guys would find it comfortable, but them I'm not much for the whole "bicycle compression shorts" fashion trend.

I am in love.

This is a bad case of Serious, High School, Lets Elope to Mississippi, Where Is The O2 Tank, Love.

I do rather think, having looking at the video again before I closed the window, that the model's hair was in fact an unfair distraction as far as the video showing how concealed the weapon was. When she's facing right, there's a completely clear and distinct outline of the butt of the Glock under her shirt - you just can't see it from the back because the end of her hair is in the way.

She'd actually have to wear a much looser shirt for real-life concealment.

Fun video, nonetheless.

Hello folks,

I stumbled onto this thread while looking up out-of-the ordinary holster, and figured I would register, and put a link here to a holster that seems to be tough, and interesting to boot...

These folks call it a "Pistol Pouch". Looks like a binocular case....

Some of us are bicyclists.

I used a plastic water bottle with a colored nylon cover when wearing minmal outer garments in hot weather. It will hold a Walther PPk or small revolver, or similar sized gun. I cut a slot out of the bottle, and placed the slot und3r the zipper opening so I could grab the gun from the "tube" after pulling the zipper. Zip, reach, snatch, present. The bottle cover had a loop for wearing on your belt, or you could just carry it in you hand. Kind of like a fanny pack carry, just less conspicuous.

Dex I had an IDPA safety officer show up with something like that for a mini Glock or Kahr, and I didn't even realize he was armed--AT a shooting match.

That really doesn't scream gun it looks like a camera case.
