I'm especially curious how long you've had to wait for delivery.

I ordered a belt and holster from El Paso Saddlery on June 4 and it's getting pretty close the 8-week end of what their FAQ says is commonly a 6-8 week delivery time. I'm wondering how much longer I should wait before I start making some noise.

I have ordered from them several times. Delivery took anywhere from 4-12 weeks, and the holsters were definitely worth the wait. Generally speaking the fancier the rig, the longer the wait time.

My wife got me this one for our anniversary a few years ago.

wait

mine was 10-12 weeks aand it was worth the wait. i recommend them to any who ask, but be patient. much better than off the shelf stuff. they will respond to your emails and keep you in the loop.

Thanks for all the feedback, though I can't say ya'll have my situation much easier:neener:. I'm even more eager to see my new holster thanks to all the glowing reviews (and Dave's stunning pic :what:).

I guess I'll just have to be patient.

OT, but I just had to chime in to say to .41Dave... Don't ever get rid of that woman, but if you do, please let us know!

Sweet! A Mexican Loop!

Awesome rig! I love 'mexican loop' western holsters - I have one like that for my single action revo and like it way better than the 'lower hanging' western rig I have for a S&W 686.

Now ya just gotta wear it around for while to break it in! :)

I wore it while my wife and I took the baby for a stroll around the court house plaza yesterday evening. Very comfortable.

I love that you can open carry a rig like this in this town and no one raises an eyebrow.:D

The most incredible piece of leatherwork I own is from EPS. It took forever to arrive, and cost a bit (as custom holsters do), but it's a great work of craftsmanship. Buy with confidence, wait with patience. :)
