last night I added some things to my G36
-ext. slide release
-ext. mag release
-ghost rocket trigger con.
-grip tape
I'm very pleased with the improved ergonomics and trigger pull, but when i took the gun outback for a test run, the slide relase engages like the clip is empty when there are still rounds left. this happend about 50% of the time anywhere from the first to the last shot in the clip. I immediately thought perhaps I have the slide release spring on the wrong side of the locking block, but the slide release rests where it is supposed to when the gun is at rest. I could not duplicate the problem by racking the slide and cycling rounds. any ideas? sorry so long

Do they have an extended slide stop for the G36???
Because if you try to use the standard part made for all the rest of the Glocks, you are going to be in a world of hurt!!
Been there, done that many moons ago!!
The poor 36 went from a functioning gun to jam city in a heartbeat!!
Once I realized what was going on and switched back to the stock part, everything went back to normal!! ;)

I used a standard one... I'll switch it out and see if that fixes the problem. thanks for the info man

The G36 is an amazing gun, if you leave it alone. It is very sensitive to variables such as grip, so I can't imagine that it's going to take kindly to too much tweaking.

Leave it be. Right out of the box it's a very reliable and accurate gun. I know that some folks enjoy making their mark on a gun, but this is one to leave alone.
