Which is the 'nicer' tactical shotgun? The Fabarm or the Benelli M1 (I think it's the M1, I'm not up on my Benelli nomenclature).

"Nicer" is very subjective. "Tactical" is way over-used. 
The Benelli is definitely a more proven design, since it's been around a lot longer. There are also many more accessories for the Benelli, If you're into such things.
The Fabarm looks funny to my eyes with that "bump" on the end of the barrel.

If accessories count, not sure if you can get a saddle on there, but if you could it would only be 4 rounds. You can attach optics so if that matters, take that over the Benelli, unless you want to wait for the new M4 Super 90.
