My hat is off to Fabrique Nationale. They have surely taken the initiative of manufacturing the cool toys for us civilians in light of the death of the AWB.
Civilian P90s, Scars, scary Scatterguns, F2000, Five Seven, ect. The company is on the ball when it comes to providing civilians with civie versions of their latest designs. FN is where its at!

I myself am excited greatly by the PS-90 unveiled at SHOT SHOW 05.
Anyone else eyeing some of FNs awesome designs?

I definitely appreciate the fact that FN has brought out, and will be bringing out, new firearms for civilians. The only problem is, I am not interested in any of them. The FAL and AR designs are about as “high tech” looking as I can tolerate. A+ for effort on FN’s part though, I certainly appreciate the thought.

I can't wait to get an F2000, SCAR-L, and SCAR-H to keep my FN SLP and P35 company. I love supporting a company that actually cares about the US civie market.

FN is the new HK. :)

P90's with longer barrels are a no, but the other guns are a yes!

Now if H&k would get on the ball...

P90 would be a good SHTF gun though....

And that scar is one of very few plastic guns that looks STURDY! Wow...

Wow!

Paint the muzzle orange on that clear thing, and you got a neat Airsoft!

Love FN, but just the original FN - got a couple of their 98 Mausers, a SAFN-49, and I'm issued an FN M16A2, which is about as good as that platform is ever going to get. The Starship Trooper toys, well...

IMHO the P90s design team was one foreward thinking group. They created a gun that is full of nothing but innovative ideas that work. The 50 round clear magazine mounted atop the weapon allows for a weapon with a greater capacity since magazine protusion is no longer an issue. It also allows the user to peer down for a quick round count. The downward ejecting bullpup configuration allows for weak side shooting without issues. The design is nearly perfect IMHO but the implementation may or may not be all there. Aside from the relativly weak round I think the P90 is a step in the right direction for firearm designs. It really is an evolutionary weapon... That said I am unbeleiveably excited to get my hands on one 16inch barrel or no.

It's my opinion that the F2000 looks way too out-of-proportion and huge on glance, but neat at the same time. It reminds me of the H&K OICW project. I also recently became aware of the extra-spendy FN PGM Modular Rifles too.

The company isn't afraid to use innovation and market it on a gamble, which has been successful as far as I can tell. Some of the designs seem too radical and extreme for the more traditional types, but there is a large enough appeal to a slice of the consumer pie. Then again a fair share of people hate plastic Glocks and lego M16's but they sell well too despite naysayers. It seems like almost each new line FN adds is a completely innovative design or tailored after what people want.

For example, I've noticed its getting more popular for people to spend hundreds of dollars to convert their 870's and 590's with telescoping AR stocks and top rails along with ghost sights for a tactical shotgun...and here FN releases a shotgun in that configuration from the factory.

The unorthodox appearances of their firearms must give anti-gun lobbyists nightmares and hernias.

FN has always been on "The Ball" with weapons designs.
Like the automotive industry, firearms are extremely competitive and FN has stayed solvent through it all and more.

Make no illusion, these guys are still a force to be reckoned with even if that pumpgun is a licensed rip-off of the 1300 Winchester,,,,,,,,,,

I'll refrain from worshipping them however, since they for several years refused to offer the FiveseveN to the public, and since they dumbed down the P90 mag to 30 rounds for some odd reason for us 'civvies'. :barf:

That clear plastic P90 reminds me of Ipod. Maybe they should do a promotion, get a free Ipod with your puchase of a P90 :D

30 rounds is a "high-cap" magazine! I already ordered a few 50s which according to everyone but impact firearms will work just fine in the rifle.
I don't see any other major manufacturer *cough HK cough* delivering the no ban goods. It can be argued that HK dropped their US assault rifle products because of poor sales... what did they expect when they turned the G36 into the totally nueterd SL8? you had to preform major modifications to get it to accept 30 rounders. FN is offering us their products in a manner wich remain as faithfull to the original design as the law will allow. For whatever reason they nuetered the magazine of the P90 I have no clue. Since 50 rounders will function fine I am not too dissapointed.

No i dont have stock in FN
I am just really excited to get my hands on my favorite firearm design of all time.
