Factcheck.org's full name is "Annenberg Political Fact Check". Annenberg donates money to the Brady Campaign. This link at FactCheck.org is way off base:

They call the most popular hunting handgunin the world, the Thompson Contender, "uncommon". Is 500,000 copies really uncommon? They fail to mention that Ted Kennedy explicitly called to ban the .30-30, .223 and 7.62 when introducing his .30-30 ban. Instead factcheck.or defends Kennedy by saying:

They quote Obama after Heller but don't mention that he refused to sign the amicus brief (signed by more politicians than any other in history) which urged the Supreme Court to rule that the individual right to bear arms is protected under the 2A. And much more
FactCheck.org is clearly compromised.
