Fake Walther magazine?

Megcar makes non factory magazines for almost every major company. I regularly don't use brand magazines that don't match the firearm, did once and have been kicking myself since. I would rather (and have) spent the extra money to get a genuine Walther magazine.

A magazine purchased directly from a manufacturer, carrying factory logos from said manufacturer match the firearm, and is a genuine factory mag by my definition.

Many gun manufacturers don't even make magazines anymore.

Mec Gar delivers great quality, whether it is a logo'ed magazine, or directly from Mec Gar, and because of manufacturer support, and overall quality should distinguished from general aftermarket magazine makers, like Pro Mag for example.

Every Mec-Gar made mag I own has the "italy" stamp, but I've never heard of anyone faking Mec-Gar mags.

You do run into faked Colt 1911 mags, from time to time -- but they go to the trouble of trying to make them seem COMPLETELY legitimate. I doubt that someone trying to "fake" a Mec-Gar mag would leave the country of origin off...

Try the mag out. If it works alright, and seems legitimate in other respects, use it and don't worry about it. If it doesn't work as it should, contact the seller and ask for a refund if you send it back.
