My L1A1 is going through some upgrading, will post pics of it when its done, around mid June.
I need some input on good iron sights for it. It will have a DSArms picatinny dust cover, and a Picatinny gas-block. The rifle will have an S und B PMII 10X for opitcs, but I also want good iron sights.
Any suggestions will be appriciated!

Okay, Getting an old rifle to run isnt that easy... Got most of it done.
But, got problems with extraction of used brass. Seem that the brass sticks to the chamber walls, maybe the timing is incorrect. I have changed the barrel to a stainless lothar walther, a little bit longer than the original. Got an case seperation today, and some cases has a crack near the bottom. Is it to much gas going into the gas tube, or higher gas pressure for a longer time?? Or something else? I have adjusted the gas regulator to what I think is corrct, I do not have an bolt open pin on it, so I am not sure, maybe it is as easy as to let some more gas out, but i dont think it is. (Will test that when I get the seperated case out of the chamber) Any input?

This is how its looks so far, waiting for a Magpul PRS stock.
