Anyone know of any good tricks? I polished my engagement surfaces, polished the plungers and what not... I snipped a coil or two off the hammer spring (I didn't want a light spring, but wanted it just a hair lighter --it did the trick). I also modded the trigger return spring and sear spring, but did so gradually until I got it where I wanted it and it operated safely. In installed a set screw in the trigger guard to stop overtravel. That works great.

My only two problems are this. If the trigger is pulled halfway and stopped, the trigger will not go back to the original position, ie, when you resume pulling, it will finish off from where the pull was stopped. I assume this has to do with how the springs work together... I lightened some, but not all.

The second problem is that there is still a little grinding or sticking when the trigger is pulled slowly. Again, I assume this has to do with the springs.

Has anyone gotten these down to a good 5 or so lbs.? Any recommendations on springs? I've almost got this trigger where I want it, but I need some fine tuning tips on how to make it sing. Any help would be appreciated.
