Fancy new leather from HBE!!!

I just went and picked up this beauty yesterday from Eric. I ordered this to commemorate my changing of jobs , so I went all out.

It's an HBE COM3 for a Browning Hi Power with 20 degrees cant. The holster mouth and the belt loops are Shark (which is black), and the rest of the holster is a very dark red, almost black, called "black cherry."

Two of my favorite "rollmarks:" HBE Leatherworks, and FN Herstal.

This pic is not quite in focus, but you can see the red hue of the "black cherry" better in this pic. The red hues will come out more as the holster wears.

I can't put into words how much I love this holster. Not only is it drop-dead gorgeous, it is incredibly comfortable, and firmly tucks the butt of the pistol into my side... I LOVE THIS HOLSTER!!!

You betcha, Eric. It is a beautiful holster.

I wore it to work today... er, uh -- I mean, carry isn't allowed at work!!! It is abso-frigging-lutely comfortable. I had my doubts about switching from the COM to the COM3, but now I just can't decide between which design I like the most.

One thing's for sure -- my body is lovin the ~20 degree cant. Thanks so much, Eric. I love it.

And now, I have to put my precioussssss to bed.

Looks like a beauty. I've got a COM-2 for my 1911 and love it. I just picked up a FN HP and I'm trying to decide what holster to buy for it.

Nice holster Wes. I've got a Com3 on order for my Sig P245. I spoke with Eric yesterday and it sounds like I should be getting it pretty soon, though he didn't know exactly when (needed to get back to his shop to check). I can hardly wait. However, mine is sans sharkskin and I choose the burgandy color. That way it'll match the fine, fine HBE pancake holster I have for the Redhawk, and the excellent belt that came with the pancake holster.

Think you'll make it back to AZ again anytime soon?

I hope so!!! I love it down there. We had a blast last time... The next time I come I will be able to bring my own guns, too. That'll be nice.
