Botched projects that get people killed aren't exactly permissible in American society.

That really depends on popular outrage and since the major news agencies are too busy, ahem, "servicing" the administration, I'm not surprised at the relatively deafening silence. The total lack of accountability (not to mention jail time) is only going to encourage political appointees to act recklessly and on ideology rather than act within the law.

Remember Ruby Ridge, and Waco? What members of the Federal Law Enforcement (U.S. Marshall, BATF,or FBI) went to prison or was even demoted or fired for those botched operations?

Seeing as how the BATF has just promoted several of the perpetrators of Operation Fast and Furious, it is obvious the Administration fully backed and supported the running of Guns into Mexico.

There will be no prosecutions or sanctions imposed upon any government official for their role, except to the whistleblowers, by this Administration.
