Favorite Bullet Seating Depth Tool?

I've used the Hornady OAL gauge to get the on-the-lands OAL (measured with their comparator) and now use the comparator to determine my seating depth for my target rifle rounds. It's a great system IF you read and follow the directions carefully.
 
I'll join in with RC on the use of smut/marker ... I add the two sizes of Sinclair hex nuts and a caliper... been working well for many many years.

I spent about 15 minutes getting the "distance off lands" that I wanted to try in a 250/3000 99 Savage only to find they were wa-a-ay too long for the magazine. ....with that particular bullet, anyway....
 
A transfer with any seating die with a seater stem and the dial caliper, again all of my seater dies are micro adjust, I do not pay extra for the micro adjust feature, it comes with the adjustable seater stem, dial caliper, or the height micrometer, in thousands.
