What is your most favorite gun that you’ve bought in 2021, and if not bought, have just been using and enjoying the most this year? I’ll start:

This is a gun I’ve been showing off a lot this year, but also shooting a lot! I’ve got about 3K rounds through it and it’s never jammed. It’s a Bulgarian-made AK-47 rifle called the SAM-7. It features a hammer forged and milled receiver and is extremely well built.

Looking forward to seeing your favorite gun of this year. Let’s all hope and pray for a better 2022, keep our heads up, our bibles open, and staying positive. God bless and thank you all for the fun and enjoyment this year.

I'll have to say Taurus G3C. To start out it had some break in issues. But the last 3 trips to the range I've been very impressed with it. Mag. After mag. with absolutely no problems and it seems with every shot it gets more accurate. Very impressed. 20211127_173446.jpg

Hands down, my SIG 365X

I didn't buy anything new in "21", figured the 65 guns I have on hand are enough for now..

I did send off one of my M7s to be re-barreled and bought a Manners LW stock for it, the two should be together in early 22. The one thing I did do in 21 was rediscover my Rem M7 MS in .350RM from the custom shop. I bought it to hunt elk in the timber and it worked well on them and blacktails, range was adequate for the timber and clearcuts. When I left the Pacific Northwet, the rifle went into the safe and stayed there.

In Feb I dusted it off and used it on a couple pigs in OK. I had forgotten how much fun the little carbine was to hunt with and how well it took the air out of animals. It flat out thumps them, .35 cal hole going in and .60 something coming out. After that hunt I was determined to get more use out of it. So I developed a more KS "appropriate load" using a 200 grn Hornady bullet at 2800+. I also put a 2nd scope on it using QD mounts, so depending on the terrain I can go to either 1.25-4X or 2.5-8X. I also used the carbine for a couple drives and decided that while the MS stock is cool, it adds too much weight to the carbine, so I ordered another manners stock.

Unfortunately, I killed my buck this year with my .270 across a pasture, so the 350RM wasn't tested. The forecast for tomorrow is snow, 18 degrees, and 17MPH winds, going to feel like -2. I'm going to head out with my new 200 grn load and try to thump a doe, just to see what the load will do. Then a couple more pigs in Feb. I kind of feel bad that the M7 was ignored for so long, so I'm going to try and make up for it.

Vudoo, it's some kind of sweet! I did not like the Manners stock for shooting PRS, figured out I preferred a chassis,
so I tried the Vudoo in it. Perfectly balanced and the Manners is very stiff, perfect for shooting precisely.

I've bought three this year, (or is it four?) and would be hard-pressed to say which one is the favorite. I'd been searching for three of them for a while, and got triple lucky, because the ones I found were ANIB and unfired since the factory. Two are .357 Magnum revolvers, and one is a .41 Magnum. I suppose I'll have to show all three.

When I stopped to think about it realized I did not buy any this year. Amazing. Has some to due with state made selling no longer worth the trouble so I have more than I have ever in my life owned at one time. When Wife and I went to move this summer though I did find a gun I had no idea we had. Phoenix Arms .22. It had been in a large tote full of "stuff" that got stuck out in a shed and never opened. When I dug it out to see what was in there the pistol was there, NIB. When I asked Wife about when and where she got all red faced and admitted she was not sure when she bought it. LOL. It's nothing to write home about of course but I did have to order a few extra mags and then take it the range. Works fine for what it is. I was impressed that the factory packing kept it from being covered in rust since it had been sitting in a damn shed for 3 years .

The one that I built.
Remington 40X action with a minimum amount of truing, and with steel custom shop bottom metal, Jewell Trigger, Kreiger Remington Varmint Contour Fluted barrel finished at 20 inches, H-S Stock, PTG lug, Badger "0" Rail and Rings and Nightforce 2.5-10 scope.
Hope its a shooter! Hope I get to shoot it after the rain this weekend moves out.

I gotta learn to post pictures!

I got 14 during the year. Temper that with six were old Mossberg .22’s for winter projects. They all need help. Anyhow the most impressed that I got was the Colt King Cobra. The newest just today a CZ75. It also is pretty nice. Also added a CZ457. P365, MC1, SA Range Officer, and a Swedish Roller. And a Mossberg 9200. Gifted away a Beretta A300, Thompson Center Compass, and an unissued Hungarian Nagant. 80D50C1A-55F8-451A-B4E0-B4B9A3D3D458.jpeg 0F38CB42-5925-401E-8F48-3421F83F4096.jpeg B0E4B78E-A555-47F9-AF71-CC5BCB8551E6.jpeg

For me it would have to be my unfired 1981 Python purchased a couple of months ago. I've been wanting to add one to my collection for a long while,
but had a hard time parting with the kind of money that they've been commanding over the last couple of years. I was fortunate and this one came to me
from a family member, and being unfired was a big bonus. What's even more amazing is that it was stored in a drawer, inside a Sherpa lined zippered pistol pouch
for 40 years and came out looking like that.
